How to add standalone chairs
Use standalone chair objects when you need seats that are not attached to a table. This is useful for ceremonies, rows, lounges, waiting areas, or chairs around a round stage.
- Open the item library.
- Find a chair or seating item.
- Tap the item to enter add mode.
- Tap the floor plan where you want the chair.
- Move, rotate, duplicate, or resize the chair as needed.
Common layouts
Standalone chairs can be placed in rows, arcs, small clusters, or around a stage. For a round stage, place the first chair near the stage, duplicate it, and rotate each copy around the stage until the spacing looks right.
If guests need assigned seats, use guest-based seating items when available. Standalone chairs are best when you need flexible visual placement.
