How to name and color-code tables

Naming tables makes it easier to find the right table in the guest list, seating tools, and exported plans. Color-coding tables can help separate sections, families, teams, VIP areas, or service zones.

  1. Tap a table on the floor plan.
  2. Open the table details.
  3. Edit the table name or label.
  4. Choose a table color or style if you want the table to stand out visually.
  5. Repeat for other tables that need custom names or colors.

Naming tips

Use short names that guests and planners will recognize, such as Table 1, Head Table, Family, Patio, Stage Left, or VIP. If you are searching for a table by name, use the same spelling in the table label and guest notes.

Color-coding tips

Use colors consistently across the event. For example, use one color for meal service sections, another for family tables, and another for staff-only or vendor areas.
