Add standalone chairs

Use standalone chair objects when you need seats that are not attached to a table. They work well for ceremonies, rows, lounge areas, waiting areas, or seating around a round stage.

  1. Open the item library in the planner sidebar.
  2. Search or browse for a chair or seating item.
  3. Drag the chair onto the floor plan canvas.
  4. Duplicate, rotate, and position more chairs until the layout matches your space.
  5. Use the detail panel to adjust size, color, or other available style settings.

Layout examples

  • Place chairs in rows for a ceremony or presentation.
  • Arrange individual chairs around a round stage or performance area.
  • Use small clusters for lounge seating, waiting areas, or flexible seating zones.

If you need guests assigned to numbered seats, use a guest-based table or seating item where possible. Standalone chairs are best for flexible visual layout.
